fenix what do u think about having a warm up session first. nothing as big as chogoris but just to get the rping back in our streams. and i want to sort out this points idea first ( fenix the idea u and me have been discussing)

I roleplay everyday :p arn't i sad :p i do all kidns a roleplay. Forum roleplay, IM roleplay, Diceroll roleplay, the really crap boardgame version roleplay which sucks :p lol
I must say that diceroll roleplay relaly is the best version but you actually have to be there :p

@ Squall - okay, which SM units do we still have to do? After that we can get started on Orks, Chaos and Eldar.

Let's see, we've done some on Force Commander, Veterans, Tactical, Devastator, Scouts and Assault squads...I think we've still got Dreadnoughts, vehicles and some of the leaders to cover. Let me get back to you on this one.

u mean uve suggested 1 idea for each...i mean u and me gettin on togetha and having a big discussion about it codex/rulebook in hand. going through every unit with a fine tooth comb lol

oh and since thats gunna take a while i officially declare the RP forum OPEN! but please...only a warm up atm...no full blown campaign (Yet)

I'm working on an "Army list" for DOW space marines so I'll post it up ASAP once it's finished.

It'll also hopefully help people like Asreal who don't play tabletop 40K and so won't have a codex.

lol raven...wheesht :P fenix send it to me ASAP and ill take a look through it. when we get the SM 1 up then we ( u and me that is ) can start the campaign with SM vs SM "traning exercises" although we wtill gotta reach a codex we both agree on!
p.s theres no need to do the whole codex etc...only do the relevant stuff for DOW

I was wondering, could we start up a campaign in the Chogoris style (ie just written) to get the ball rolling while we work out the DOW/40K rules? It might be a good idea anyway as that way people can play as other races besides the 4 in DOW (5 if you count WA).

Oh, and we have to start a Final Fantasy one for Asreal :)

I recken a ff7 roleplay or something cause 7 was one of the greatest for storylines. I dunno what kidna story line i can come up with though :p i'll work on that :p or 9.

7,9 and 10 were the best final fantasy's. 8 was ok but i didn't like the battle or equipment system at all >.> was terrible XD And 1 through 6 were just too bad to cope with :p lol

It's not too much of a rip-off - just a Chaos Lord running around with an hourglass that fills up with blood when you kill people and when its full he can invoke crazy Chaos powers...(like going back in time :p)

You should mix a FF storyline with the plot from Hybrid, that way you can get werewolves into it as well

If memory serves there's a poem on the back (which I can't remember), a quote on the front that says "thankyou for killing me..." and it stars Keith Bell, you, and someone called Travis.

Which character's which?

PS I still think our idea for a disgruntled sixth year werewolf hiding in the aircon ducts of our school and picking off the first years was pure class ;)

Aye that was a grand idea but so BAD i can't use that for art!
and the thing on the front if changed and the poem on the back:

Okay - here’s a suggestion for a Hybrid plot-line. Feel free to laugh - in fact, I expect you to ;)

Right, once upon a time in a make-believe town called Kemnay…

Our story starts with an average teenage girl - let’s call her Bryony (played by Hannah Marco). Walking home one night she gets attacked by a wolf and has her throat torn out in a suitably graphic horror scene. However, she wakes up next morning without a scratch on her and thinks she must have just tripped, fallen down a bank and banged her head, what an idiot. Though shaken by what she thinks was a very nasty dream, she goes home and thinks nothing more of it.

But then over the next few weeks she starts having strange waking nightmares, suffers blackouts where she can’t remember what she’s been doing, and people start to turn up dead…first some poor random called Matt who was in the wrong place at the wrong time, then her friend Dave.

Then at the next full moon, the werewolf who bit her (played by Travis what’s-his-name) turns up at her door, telling her that power and immortality beckon…

Meanwhile, Bryony’s gothy best friend - dashing hero and all-round good egg (played by Keith Bell) - is beginning to put two and two together and realise what’s going on; on a dark night at a suitably creepy location he confronts Bryon, desperate to help his friend. But does Bryony want to be saved? Will Keith be forced to kill his best friend…?

Okay, there’s enough cheese in that storyline to corner the dairy market, but it’s a start. ;)
