Idea-ness

This post is very long, oops. But yeah me and Fenix have been brainstorming at like midnight the other day for ideas of the ResEvil/underworld RP for when we finish the FFX one, and this is the results of lack of sleep on teenage minds.

Right the plot line thing.

This is a combination of Resident evil and Underworld…which in my own words would be just an excuse to be major kick ass gothic bastards with guns.
It doesn’t follow either of the films parse. Idea is that the “accident” at the hive has taken place and has been reopened letting the virus out onto Racoon city. The city has been put into lock down and the only way out is through ravens gate, if any of you haven’t seen the second ResEvil then you wont have a scooby what I’m on about.

Right, so zombies everywhere. But that’s were the vampires and werewolves come in. For once, use your imagination and imagine what it would be like if someone with the werewolf virus was bitten, then we would not only have a zombie but we would have a zombie that can’t control its ability to change into werewolf form, so then we have very strong and scary zombie werewolves running around that would rip you to shreds given half a chance.
That gives the werewolves an incentive to find the anti-virus, to save their kind.

As for vampires, they are already undead. The t-virus kills you and then re-animates the cells, but vampires already are reanimated. So either we could have it that they are immune to the t-virus and they want to get the anti-virus first and let the werewolves be destroyed. Or we can have it that the vampires will be killed when the vampire virus and t-virus attack each other? Up to you I dunno.

Anyway yeah. So we gonna need some folks to be werewolves, I kind of really wanna be a vampire just because they have so much better fashion sense, they have the whole goth look going on.
So yeah, I dunno how we’re gonna do it but that’s my idea. I told Fenix that I’d post a brainstorming thing so we can set up the ResEvil/underworld thing when we finish with the FFX roleplay.

So what are your ideas guys? I’m just wondering.

My character will be as follows most likely, with all the gothic-ness to kick ass left, right and center:

Name: Asreal
Sex: Female
Race: Vampire
Age: 24
Occupation: Computer hacker, freelance death dealer and weapons supplier to the coven
W.O.C: Automatic pistols, or any other at hand firearm.
B.Background: Before being turned at 17 she was a computer hacker under many aliases. Was part of the racoon city coven and was a death dealer but left and became a freelance death dealer. Now by hacking into umbrella and using contacts within, supplies the most up to date weaponry to the coven.

Later

i think that we should either

A. all contol a zombie and werewolf each...or

B. have all werewolfs as NPC's as you cant really control a "Zombie" since there brains deteriorate and all they try to do is feed. It would also cancel out the possibility of them trying to find the anti virus. although maybe we could have more werewolfs that are trying to save there friends that arn't zombies...then we have our werewolf characters

Sure u can control Zombies, only noobs think that Zombies are complete mindless and only know 1 thing and thats eat.

But real zombies (well offical zombies) actually keep most of their human instinces also they can tell apart their own kind and know wot they want. Things like opening doors or if u cant get through it go around it are natual to zombies.  Also the longer they stay as zombies the more they remember and little by little the things that where dayly for that person will come back to them, i.e. my character used 2 b an accountant which means u may see him carrying money or seperating differnt cash, he wont know wtf hes doing with the money or wot he supposed to do with it.  Also commen sense will also come to them, they eventually relise that they are dead and dont need 2 breath, at first instince their natural sense will tell them, water, cant breath it, dont go in it, but soon they will relise they cant breath and go for strolls under water.  things like that, its quiet often u will seen a zombie carrying a gun, he wont fire it at first, he'll jst hold on it but soon they remember how to fire, they cant shoot worth of **** but the important thing is that slowly their knowledge comes back 2 them.

Yeah but even still, iof you watched ResEvil you see zombies with only half a head and stuff. How can you say a zombie will be able to remember squat with only half a head XD
Sorry but controling a zombie would be kinda boring until their memory came back and by that time it would be blown to hell by one of us with oozys

If a zombie had half a head then it would b dead, half a head equals half a brain.

and i was only joking with the whole being a zombie thing, i will prob sit out o that rp cause im not a fan on underworld so dont know much about it.  But im a big fan of res, and i think that adding underworld to the mix is jst butchering it.  Resident Evil is all about survival.  About ppl normal humans getting together, or a person, fighting hard to survive the horror, adding immortal beings and supernatual powers into the mix is jst taking away the whole survival element.  Also u guys are going about the movie which in my opinion suked ass, i go by the oriaganal and when i say origanal i mean the games.  The movies took away that element aswell adding a super strong super fast chick into the mix and the movie also ruined Jill Valintine's character also Nikolai was a bad guy and a nutcase, and the Nemesis being a good guy underneath is bull****.  I could go on for ages but i cant be assed atm.

The films weren't great to be honest. Cool, but not great. I don't know who the hell Jill Valentine was supposed to be, but I know no real cop would dress the way she does in the film...

Well, it was only an idea. We could always chop and change them into two separate RPs. It would give me an excuse to bring in that Russian vampire character I've invented or even Van Helsing (I don't mean the guy from the movie, I've put my own spin on the original vampire-hunting character, to balance out the fact that ATM there are too many vampires and not enough werewolves)

Assuming we're keeping to the RE/UW cross, and to go back to Asreal's original question, I have some ideas for the story - the idea of werewolves wanting the anti-virus is good, especially since they'll have to fight their way through the vampires and goodness knows what else that's lurking around the Hive to get it.

As to why the werewolves were in Racoon City to begin with, perhaps they were seeking Umbrella Corporation’s advanced weapons for their own use, or maybe they were sent to eliminate Asreal to deny the vampires the same, or both.

The vampires, hearing of werewolf activity in the area, might have sent in a task force to protect their most valuable arms dealer and recover the newly developed “anti-werewolf” T-virus from her so they can destroy the werewolves once and for all (though whether they are aware of the T-virus’ full effects at the time is an interesting question…). Of course, once Racoon City is locked down, they’re trapped there with everyone else, and time is running out before Umbrella nuke the city to erase the evidence…

To make things more interesting you could throw in Umbrella’s secret weapon (which for something different is NOT Nemesis and in my first draft post I have called “Project Krishna” - I thought it might be interesting to keep to the spirit rather than the letter of the games/films especially as we're adding UW anyway) which breaks loose and goes on a rampage - perhaps a captured werewolf or vampire they’ve been experimenting on…?

When it was going to be just a RE story, my character was going to be a kick-ass special agent sent to investigate Umbrella's shady dealings...it might have been a bit of a godmod in just a RE story, but if there's going to be vampires and undead werewolves running round as well it'll be entertaining to see how unbelievably in over his head he is

Name: Classified (although if you’re lucky he might tell you)

Callsign: Agent 0012 (aka double-oh twelve)

Occupation: Special agent for MI6, British Intelligence

Mission: Intelligence reports indicate Umbrella corporation may be conducting illegal weapons research. Double-oh twelve has been dispatched to find out what exactly is going on at their secret installation known only as “the Hive”. Of course, he soon finds out there’s more to it than that…

Weapons: Twin machine-pistols, silenced pistol for covert work, various gadgets (no "Bond car" though) and dry British wit (LOL). Should also be able to pick up just about any other weapon and use it with stunning effectiveness.

Although for this to work the story will have to start slightly before the outbreak at the Hive. This guy might end up helping either immortal side, or neither, need to work out some more background stuff first.

A cop does that in RE: Apocalypse if I remember rightly, just before Nemesis shows up and shoots the **** out of the STARS with his chain gun.

Oh yeah and Underdog I've just remembered - the "Nikolai the Bastard" character from the game was probably represented by Alice's husband in the first film (the guy who deliberately unleashed the T-virus in the first place) but of course he died...so they must have brought in some random with his name in the second one.

Sort of like in the War of the Worlds film where the nutcase hiding out in the basement is a combination of two of the book characters (the artilleryman and the curate who goes insane) and just for good measure give him the name of a third character (the astronomer Ogilvy, who gets torched by the Martians when they first open their cylinder spaceship thingy)

Heh the cop on the roof was a STAR :P and yeah they got their asses kicked XD the coloured guy was funny XD lol
him with his "custom" weapons XD just standing their with his hands up, threat "minimal" then he drops them, threat "zero" and nemises walks off and stuff

I really liked the films i thought they were hesterical XD they were kinda like the games in a very watered down sense but they were definatly worth a see XD

You could complain about the lack of meaning but then how much depth can you put in the average horror film?
