Yeh Neji and Penance are currently on the roof atm, but as with all fights they can drift about, Keiji will face Penance on the roof aswell.

Fair enough - after all, the roof allows for cool weather effects, airborne combat, more space for Aeons, and a bigger, more impressive Void portal.

Although...some readers might then wonder why we walked all the way through the castle and didn't just fly up onto the roof in the first place biggrin

Because the angels werent to know where Penance was. The walls guilded Neji and they would do the same for Keiji reconising the demon blood.

Sorry about my ooc rant in the last post, it's just that a lot of our "boss" fights seem to follow the pattern of

Basically visualise we're now fighting a boss with high Level stats rather than a ton of Hit Points :P

I could write heaps of stuff, jst i dont like writing for other ppl's characters, so forgive if the parts are Keiji and Neji orientated. Also howz this for a plan;

Fight Penance for abit
Penance transforms into his giant demon form (seen in proloug) this means everyone must summon they're aeons (Keiji obviously wont b able to do so he'll jst go up a gear and buzz around) During this battle Laconfir will contact Gau and Zell telling them to bring the orb to Yuna.
After getting beat in his giant form Penance reverts back to normal form which would lead to the void events.

During above battle Tsunami will likely appear do something to help then fuk off saying she sorry and wont bother any of them again.

Was just wondering what Penance looks like when in his "uber demon" form.

Also, when does Tanis show up with all the ghosts of the previous angels (and all the other randoms)?

well we could go by the game or something else big and scary, that would promt the summoning of the aeons, or we could have him under go a smaller transformation we could still summon the aeons or continue to fight the way we are, the fight jst tougher.

Whether Penance goes giant or not the angels will fight him and manage to beat him down back to origanal form the end result everyone being pretty much ****ed including Penance but due to his crystal his stamina and wounds get better quicker than the angels putting him in a promising postion, also another twist Penance armor is strengthed by the power of the crystal making it impregnable. When a weakened Penance goes to finish angels off that when Tanis makes his return with ghost army (cool enterance could be him and Selina blocking Penance's sword) he says his line and angels get power boost, cue Penance defeat (with boost Neji instantly goes to Retala and Zell's side standing between them and demon army he then blast that portion of demon army with a double Demonic burst edge)

Howz that sound?

I've been in a real writing mood today so as well as that long-ass post for Liandri Tournament I also wrote up a couple of paragraphs of cool imagery for AA2 - mainly Penance assuming his uber form (I used the third pic - the big black demon - as inspiration coz I thought it was the coolest). Now I just need to think up the bit that comes before. Had a vague idea of Penance casting Dark Clones so everyone can have a go at once.

I think the major problem I'm having is finding a convincing way for Keiji, Eevee, Neji and Fariel to all fight Penance at once. Everyone going in one at a time is the easiest to write (everyone does their post in turn) but is a bit unrealistic. On the other hand I could just write for everyone (like I did against Beelzebub, in Luca and against Mika's army in AA1) but that denies everyone else the chance to write what they want. Tricky.

One solution I've come up with is to have Penance create four Dark Clones (everyone writes vs their respective clone, and the fact that we're getting our arses kicked by phantoms with only 10% of Penance's power would be a nice touch) but it's only a half-decent solution - I'd rather fight Penance himself - so if anyone's got any ideas please share.

I'm talking about the bit before Penance goes super-size BTW - Sean's plan a couple of posts back for that part onwards is sound enough.

Was gonna make a more serious point...hmmm, what was it...oh yeah, you may have said what the enchantment was OOC, but you gave it bugger all description in the actual post :P And I don't know which book you'r talking about cry

The closest equivalent we've seen in AA so far is Bisingr du Knifr (which doesn't technically make the blade unbreakable but wraps it in magical flames and makes it cut through other stuff instead) but of course that's a fire spell...

Bah, just assume it's that spiral of water and ice you always seem to mention as swirling round Fariel's swords smile

yeh ive got something but its in bevelle, basically Retala getting words from Laconfir and teaming up with Laguna and Tyrion to save yuna, meanwhile Yendor, Silarion and Alariele meet up with Zell Gau and Alia getting the necro orb through bevelle and to yuna.
