Hehe no they aren't gone, they're just gonna fight Penance in another dimension - a swirly white one bearing a strange resemblance to the final level in Kingdom Hearts 2.  The catch - magic of any kind does not work in this dimension, so it's all bladework! :D

Meanwhile you can give yourself something to do by having Leviathan explain where they've gone and they might as well leave them to it and go and save Bevelle, then go and sweep over it with the Unsent like the ghost army in LOTR and save the day.  Don't worry, for convenience Keiji and Eevee will open up a Plot Hole in space and time and reappear wherever you happen to be, rather than back at the castle.

Saying bye to ghosts? >.> Oh right, all the kebel people i had killed XD lol oops Forgot about them.

And i have three essays to write this week but i'll try and write something >.

Yeh I'll produce something, Got a vision of Neji appearing in front of the survivors of Bevelle then blasting demons away with a massive Demonic Burst edge, just before the unsent start owning.

I'll also write my ending, Tsunami returns home and over looks a ruined bevelle then Keiji appears behind her and que happy ending for them, no need for a some time after for this one as i doubt they're will be a sequel. You could write an epilogue type thing, "and they all lived happily ever after"

Or how about it just ends with something cheesy like the sun rising leaving whatever happens to the characters after they saved the world up the reader imagination.

There's heaps of things i could come up with.

I'm back. Hopefully longer then last time and hopefully I'll be able to finish my part and hopefully you all won't rip my balls off too harshly.

I'm a bit surprised that no-one has

a) Posted a new chapter

b) Made a mocking comment about Feyd getting knocked silly.  Let that be a lesson to all you folks who try to take on Penance without superpowers - one glancing blow will make you forget where you are and what you're doing there.

Maybe I'll have more luck if I write something for LT...

As Sean will know, that post was actually due yesterday, but a certain sneaky someone went and hijacked my laptop all evening :P

If you're wondering why Keiji was able to use DBE when everyone else's magic wasn't working, I'm going to go with the explanation that he's drawing on the power of his demon blood, as opposed to Eevee who's trying to draw hers from a whole other dimension (which is never going to happen with the equivalent of a bloody great magical magnet stuck inbetween it and her). Penance, well I guess he's still suffering the magical backlash of losing his jewel and is unable to use what little power he has left with the Void trying to suck it all away.

Well better get emailing then Matt! And no i didn't get fed up with her, i just discovered what it was like to have three jobs, and college...now that i've graduated, i have 4 jobs...and no social life! YAY! XD
But i do write random junk about the AA story but my computer exploded again so i lost it all :P I suppose thats just an excuse to write more though :P

Ha ha, join the club, there's a few fairly blatant rip-offs in my early chapters as well.  Water Guardians will seem strangely familiar to anyone who's played the original Unreal, not to mention one of the player skins is named "Sonya", wears an outfit suspiciously similar to my character's elven costume, and has a mask.

The idea of it being a respirator is pure speculation on my part (the player character is supposed to be a criminal - innocent or guilty is not specified - so for all I know the mask could be there because she's the 24th century equivalent of Hannibal Lecter...) but the fact that in the expansion pack most of the female crew of the UMS Prometheus wear the same outfit and mask makes it more likely to be a rebreather of some kind.

Of course, the most blatant rip-off is the prison ship Vortex Rikers, which is lifted straight from Unreal.  Seeing as how the spaceship was named after Rikers Island (a jail in New York), perhaps I should change it to the Vortex Purifico for the Spiran equivalent.

That reminds me.  Bryn, you're the resident FF guru - could you help me fill in a plot hole in one of my posts?  I've written that Sonya got chucked in the Via Purifico 6 years prior to AA1, before Seymore instigated some reforms and decided on tougher punishments for heretics which led to her being dragged out and put on the Rikers for public execution in Luca, but seeing as how the Via Purifico is kinda meant to be a death sentence in itself, can you think of anywhere else she might have been imprisoned, or else why the Maesters might decide to pull her out of there after 6 years (she eventually escaped and Seymore wanted the job done properly?), and how she survived in the meantime?

Onto reading AA2 now and was wondering, is "our" Penance supposed to be connected with the guy at the end of FFX-2?  If so is there any way we can make that connection?

Maybe it was a soulless body of Penance similar to his summoning of Set at the end of the Bevelle battle, or maybe the summoning of a dark aeon Penance somehow contributed to our Penance breaking out of the daemon world?

Wasn't he a super-powerful optional boss at the very end or something?
