Do we have that map of the arena yet, mate? Just coz I wanted to start planning the next match.

I also need to sit down and have a think about some interesting filler for the time leading up to it (for example, Marcus starting his habit of doing background research on their opponents). Also, Bryn, is there any character-development type stuff you want to get done? Besides one of the Battleclaws being an arse and getting curious about Lu now that Marcus has mentioned her to them (they might be curious about the fact that Marcus is putting out that he's the only survivor but Lu isn't listed in the Liandri datalinks as KIA) :P That can come later on.

Some stuff revealing a bit about the Alitans' personalities and their relationships with each other would be a change of pace from all Marcus' flashbacks.

That was interesting. So Minqua doesn't like Marcus either and now she's jealous that her best friend is spending more time with a human than with her...

So hang on, let me get this straight:

Lune = Decisive, arrogant, single-minded, focussed on the mission

Koda = The yin to Lune's yang, level-headed, troubleshoots within the team, perceptive about team morale

Aino = Quiet, likes to read, more welcoming to other species, sticks up for Seneca

Minqua = Aino's best friend, stubborn, thinks Marcus is being too familiar with Aino

Seneca = Proud, occasionally moody, hits on anything on two paws (although that side of his character hasn't developed yet)

Nokoni = The large associate who stands in the back and adds weight to Lune's words by growling threateningly, likes to wind up Seneca

Is that close enough?

Yup, pretty much.
I'll post something up about the training simulation where Minqua and Aino have a chat and Minqua loosen's up about the whole Marcus being in the team thing.

Annnnnnddddd~ There really hasn't been any women for seneca to hit on because (which i havn't explained) Aino and Minqua have both kicked his ass for hitting on them in the past :p lol

Nokoni has a twisted sense of humor, hence the reason he winds up Seneca.

And Lune is just a cold hearted leader because thats how she was trained :p lol

I will put some back story in eventually to explain all the junk i have in my head XD

apologizes for my lack of posting, been wrking like crazy and not been feeling to great, and now im pretty flat out from now and the 27th with but one day off on christmas eve (im wrking 12 hour shift on christmas now that sucks) fortunatly this is followed by 6 days off in a row so if dnt post on monday then I will during that period.

Soooooooo, when do you want to get back to writing?

A few ideas we could start with:

Finish the training match

Skip to afterwards, where we can cover things like Lune making her team selection (I know ND only has 5 and so 2 of the BCs will have to sit it out but I don't mind if Marcus doesn't get picked for the team - it won't stop me writing as he can watch from the sidelines)

Diego and co's reaction to their next opponents

The ND/Battleclaw match

ND actually have 6 members, with heather as a sub she could easily fight, if u want a 7 on 7 then i guess Alex could also fight.

I've got one scene to write, would of posted it by now but too busy this time of year, its jst Cleet snowva and diego getting in trouble.

just edited my LT post to fix some of the grammer. Also heres the inspiration pics of Ross.

Unfotunatly im using my mum and dads new comp, which isnt as gd as our old one, which kinda sucks, but at least it wont switch off randomly, anyway it has no image editing there for couldn't crop out the other crap, but you should be able to pick out ross from the picks, if u can't then he's asshat.

So we've got Ross "Asshat" Liandri and Snowva Scrots. Truly inspirational names there Sean :P

Does anyone have anything else to add before we head on down to the real arena? I've developed pretty much everything I want to about Marcus for the time being, so unless one of the Battleclaws (hell, even one of the NDs or some Liandri random) has anything to say to him I'll get writing for the first clash.

Hehe, just sat down to write and remembered why I can't. How many players is ND fielding, not including the prisoner (we can assume they are played by a neutral if you want your entire team on the ground)?

Also, what is BC's preferred line-up, from 5 man to 7 man?

Im not fussed if its 5 or 7 being played, if it is 7 then heres Alex and Heather's weapons

Alex
Ranged - Sniper Rifel (shes not as skilled as Gail however, but is better than Gail at Close Combat)
Melee - War Fans (something unsual)

Heather
Ranged - Shock rifel
Melee - Two Sectioned Staff, one section is longer than the other, she mainly spins the smaller section

And I'm wanting to change Diego's melee weapon to metal Tonfas instead.

Now obviously since my team are using classic weapons then they have been uberfied, examble Alex's war fans can be used as shields against ranged weapons, but due to the size its quite difficult and it mainly comes down to luck.

And Diego's tonfa's are collaspe-able for easy storage, he produces miniture Tonfas then pushes a button at the end of the handle and they take form, there is also a trigger on the handle which brings out a spike at the top and bottom of the weapon, a little added surprise.

I'm not bothered if its 5 or 7

marcus, lune, koda, minqua, nokoni, seneca and aino

If it's five, then Seneca and Minqua will get left out.

But for seven it'll be them all in the order they were in the training battle. THe feral at front, mid range at the middle and the snipers up top.

I'm really not bothered either way :p

@ Sean - I have this image of Snowva ripping a sheet of inch-thick metal off one side of a crate, holding it in front of him as he opens the blast door to absorb Nokoni's first shotgun blast, and while the Solstice is still going "WTF!?" he throws the sheet of metal at him and crushes him :P

@ As - Nvm, it happens. I'll keep writing in the meantime to try and inspire you. Got some cool exchanges between Marcus, Aino and Lune planned for after.
