This forum's been up and running for a few weeks now but no-one's started a campaign, even if it's just a story one.  I was just wondering why.

Because i havn't decided which final fantasy is the best one to base it on yet. and i'm guessing we were waiting for you to start one :p

Well how about 4 a Final Fantasy, do FF10, b4 Sin was destroyed, ppl can do roleplaying or storys on other summoners and/or their guardians, or some1 could 2 a character who was in the Crusaders or an Al'bed (i know i spelt it wrong), they could do a roleplay on the old High Summoners like Lady Yokun (if thats it) or Ohallan (i know spelt wrong), u could even do a Blitzball player, or a member of Yevon.

maybe we could do an ff8 one on laguna as he makes his way to meeting squall. also on ff10 how about doing jecht's (spelling?) journey while helping yunas father and auron defeat sin. we can add loads of temp chars for the rest of us. also bad guys for the lot

Yeah 10 would probably be the best one cause there was so much to it. Right gonna have to come up with a story or something :p
If you guys used your imagination it dosn't nescesarily have to be with Sin as the bad guy, we could all make up random characters and go on some random adventure using the ff10 system ie map, races, history etc :p
I dunno :p throw me a bone here :p

Sorry the first two posts are so long, I had to set the scene a bit - but if you're having trouble sifting through all the fancy crap the gist is that Chaos has come to Galna III (I made that planet up BTW if the more pedantic among you are checking your Imperial galactic maps) and are in the process of beating the crap out of the Imperial Guard Planetary Defence Force.


Squall, I think the presence of your Ultramarines is required to sort out this mess ;)


Underdog, you could be Dark Eldar (Fury is back!), or Hrud (since you're into Skaven now), or anything you like, really...


Bottle, I don't know what races you play but feel free to join in.


Asreal, join in just for a laugh - you could be a wandering psyker (psychic aka magic-using) hero who blows up your enemies by summoning Warp entities in Final-Fantasy-style spells...

Well yes, but it all aint jst dynasty warriors their are many games like Dynasty Warriors Empires and Kessen and Romance of the Three kingdoms.  Also its all based on a true story back in ancient china, their is a histoical novel called Romance of the Three kingdoms or shortened 2 Thee Kingdoms, all the characters where real at one point but the games over exagerate their abilitys.  Ive got one of the many versions of the book, im trying 2 get my hands on one of the origanal copys but they impossible 2 find.  Its really interesting history.

I've got a game called Three Kingdoms: Fate of the Dragon (which is sort of like American Conquest in ancient China) and some of the names sound familiar...is that based on the same story?


As an aside aren't you going to confuse people by mentioning things like Shuriken?  I know they're really the ninja throwing-stars, but the Eldar have already got a weapon named after it (the shuriken catapult)

Proberly but thats their problem, yeh it would be based on the same story.  Generaly when ppl say Three Kingdoms it normaly refers 2 Ancient China and the war between Wei, Wu and Shu, +other dynastys like Han, the Yellow Turbans/Yellow Scarves, and the tyrant Dong Zhou.
