Yeah - Warhammer isn't just a game, it's an actual weapon too! Usually had a small spike on one side of the head and a narrow hammer on the other (smaller area = greater force on impact, woo physics in action!) and they were used in the late middle ages when armour was getting too good for bladed weapons so they changed to maces and things instead to bash people's heads in.


Or you could try a flail, or a poleaxe (gotta love those...it's like 5 weapons in one and I saw two actors do a kick-ass mock battle with them once - first they'd explain the move, then execute it, the other guy would counterattack, and they'd gradually speed up, it was awesome! Oh, and I also learned that not only can you get back up if you're in plate armour and get knocked down, you can actually flip back onto your feet!)

Went round the car dealers in Aberdeen yesterday and woo, we're getting Skodas!


I'll be practicing driving in a second-hand Skoda Fabia - I like the car, it's comfy, has good visibility (you can't see SOD ALL when you're trying to check your blind spot in my instructor's car...), not too expensive to run and is affordably insurance-wise.  The one they've got is a rather unusual dark green colour but oh well :)

My instructors car is a skoda, they used to be really crap but they the recent ones are alot better :P tis cool your getting a car. disel or petrol?

Petrol. Diesel's supposedly cheaper as it gives you more miles to the gallon, but when Dad sat down and worked out the math, you need to own the car for like 17 years to break even.
