or something to do with Guardianshipness

"I promised to protect her against all odds, and for that reason I will protect her to the end,"
or
"You truly become strong when you have that special someone you want to protect,"
or
"True power is achieved though the ones you love,"

Why don't you just give Neji and Melina a theme song? The lyrics for Taking Over Me by Evanescence fit them perfectly :)

Right, er, comments... (aside from Feyd's lack of fingers LOL) I don't know if it's just the perspective of him being in the background but Feyd's Dragon Claws look a bit short.  Then again they're the same length as his forearms so that's about right.

Really like Sonya, you even remembered the leaf brooch :D

I'll give the quotes some thought. Do you want something they say IN the story, or just something typical of their character?

EDIT - Oh yeah, and the top one would make a good front cover. Alternatively you could, as you said, use it for a chapter picture. But just remember that the story has like 100 chapters XD You're best bet would probably be pics for the 3 "sections" I've devided it into - "Fugitives" (Up til Macalania), "Adventurers" (From there til the end of elven training), and "Avenging Angels" (Fighting the assassins, Yevon and Sin)

And I'd have thought the fact that I put that bit in brackets followed by "LOL" would have made it obvious I had in fact read it and was just winding you up.  Dumbass XD

EDIT - you know, looking at Fariel's wings makes me wonder why they didn't replace her arms instead of growing out of her back, as she was morphing from bird to human at the time... :/

Okay, some Feyd-related quotes (Sonya's a bit more tricky - any help would be appreciated if you can remember any profound things she said during the course of the story):

I need to do some fight choreographing for Kobie LOL It's all very well to write about the fight scenes but now As is drawing them it occured to me it might help to work out what they actually look like. So it seems I will be spending my spare time browsing gun-kata films...

Okay, first film was Equilibrium (because it's one of the films I have with me at Uni) and I've been playing the fight scenes in slo-mo to get ideas (you kinda have to, it's so damn fast LOL). Even though it's with guns some of it is still usable (the close range stuff). You may recognise a certain sequence in my next post XD

Nah, I've worked it all out - it's land in the middle of 6 guys, cross your guns and shoot forward, sweep your arms back and shoot backward as you stand up, shoot forward again, cross, diagonal, cross again with your right arm over your head, diagonal, cross, sideways, head cross, diagonal, cross, spin and windmill your arms to come to rest with one hand above the other, and all six guys fall down.

What could possibly be simpler? XD

Edit - And it would work for Kobie vs six Sin Spawn as well, only with stabs from his Dragon Claws rather than shooting XD

Good news - I am in the process of writing a post for the RP (basically Feyd and Sonya summoning their Aeons against Sin), which will be up soon.

Bad news - I am about to spam

Well, not really - I am just posting the fact that I've been looking for a while for a way to compress Sonya's "We've come this far" speech into a usable quote for Asreal's pics and I think I've found a way (not actually in the story dialogue, but meh...) courtesy of Jeff Wayne: "If we can win a battle, then we can win a war."

So there's another option for you.

Also, looking at the pic of Fari and her wings, I think you're going to have to rethink her wardrobe XD Coz you can't fit them under her shirt and they wouldn't fit through holes cut in the back either (they'd be bigger than the shirt itself) LOL And even if they did, getting dressed would be a monumental pain in the arse XD Also no more cloaks, as they'd get in the way - bet you didn't think of that!

You might get away with it in the story, but not in a pictorial manga, so I think Fari will need to invest in some backless tops before the next RP

I havn't been drawing much at all lately and it's been really getting on my nerves. Then today i had an idea and got sketching. I have 2 pages of concept art sketched out.
And out of you lot, i doubt you know what i mean when i say concept art. I'm meaning really crappy sketchs only i understand of pictures i intend to do.

I did the first of 4 peices roughly today, this one is of Fariel and Leviathan.






The other pictures i've sketched are:

For Sonya: Sonya with her hands clasped together with birdy aeon behind her making it look somewhat like Sonya has his wings, and that they are both flying.

For Neji: Neji and Diablos standing side by side with Neji's sword in the ground between them and both of them holding it's hilt in the same place, their hands see-through each other to make it look more like they are one.

For Fariel: The picture above, Fariel and Leviathan intwined under water/in the air, whichever. Under water sounds more appropriate :p lol

For Kobie: Um, i'm having a problem coming up with one for him XD LOL Though i have a few ideas.


The 360 profiles have gone in the bin cause they were hideos and need re-drawing.

The first page of the comic is finished, there is only one panel left which is a landscape shot of Luca with the stupid blitzball stadium in it, and i can't draw scenery so i'm having problems. So you no see it yet.

The chapter 5 cover isn't finished yet either :/
